Attendance
Why Attendance Matters
Every day at school is a day of learning, growth, and connection. When children attend regularly, they build on their knowledge lesson by lesson, develop friendships that support their confidence, and establish positive habits that will serve them for life.
Research shows that children who attend school regularly achieve better outcomes — not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. Missing even a small amount of school can cause children to fall behind, as lessons build on one another and gaps can be difficult to bridge.
At Springcroft, we understand that illness and genuine emergencies happen. However, we ask all families to prioritise attendance wherever possible. If your child is absent, please let us know as early as you can so we can offer the right support on their return.
Together, we can give every child the very best start. If you have any concerns about your child's attendance or wellbeing, please don't hesitate to speak with us — we're here to help.
