School Admissions - Online Applications

If your child’s 5th birthday is between 1st September 2025 and 31st August 2026, then you can apply for a place in our Reception class to start in September 2026.

The easiest way to apply for a reception place is to complete the online application form using the link below.  If you have an older child already attending Springcroft, you will still need to apply for a place and complete the forms.

If you are unable to complete the form on-line you can still apply by telephoning the school admissions service on 0300 111 8007 (select option for school admissions). Reception Class (September 2026) admissions open on 1st November 2025, and close on the 15th January 2026. Staffordshire County Council will offer places from Thursday 16th April 2026. If you are applying for a place after the closing date, you will need to contact school admissions by telephone only.

Our 'New to Reception September 2026' Prospective Parents Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 22nd October 2025 at 6:00pm here in the school hall. We welcome and encourage individual visits to the school to share our vision and values and see what makes Springcroft, Springcroft.

We are in the unique position here at Springcroft of having families who live in both Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent. This means that your child's high school application is made via the council to whom you pay your council tax.

Visits to School

Prospective parents are welcomed, and encouraged, to visit school any time prior to their child starting school. Please note that an induction evening takes place prior to your child starting school, normally in early June. The meeting gives you the opportunity to have a greater insight into your child's learning at Springcroft, their daily routine, and a chance to ask any questions or share concerns that you may have.

Please contact our school office (01782 394793 or office@springcroft.staffs.sch.uk) to make an appointment to come and view our special school.
