Welcome to Year 3
This is an exciting stage in your child’s learning journey as they move into Key Stage 2 and continue to grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.
In Year 3, we strive to create a happy, supportive and inspiring environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their best. Our learning is underpinned by the core values of integrity, resilience, collective responsibility and creativity, which are woven through all aspects of school life.
We encourage children to show integrity by making positive choices, demonstrating honesty and taking pride in their work. Through challenge and perseverance, pupils develop resilience, learning that mistakes are an important part of growth and success. We promote collective responsibility by encouraging teamwork, kindness and respect, helping children understand the importance of supporting one another and contributing positively to the school community. Creativity is celebrated across the curriculum, inspiring children to think imaginatively, solve problems and express their ideas with confidence.
Throughout the year, pupils will enjoy engaging lessons, exciting topics and a variety of enriching experiences designed to develop both academic skills and personal growth. We work closely with families to ensure every child feels happy, confident and motivated to learn.
